On Saturday, January 6, 2024, when Hayley Louvelle boarded a flight to Jamaica for her honeymoon, she discreetly handed a note to the flight attendant. A note decorated with an enthusiastic “Hello!!!” showed a special request asking if the flight attendant could share its contents over the loudspeakers at the beginning of the flight.
In the note, Haley explained her desire to record this moment and assured that neither she nor her husband, 24-year-old Josh Louvelle, would be wearing headphones. Hayley, a 22-year-old medical student from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, said the carefully typed message contained a touching revelation for Josh, who was diagnosed with stage 4 thymoma, a rare form of cancer, in June 2020.
