Popular Restaurant Closed Permenantly

A city centre restaurant has shut down but the owners have vowed to be back ‘bigger and better’ with a new venture.

Owners of Bing Bang Bosh on Gordon Street made the ‘unfortunate decision to close with a heavy heart’ after less than a year of trading.

The Korean fast food takeaway has had a hit with customers since opening in May but due to various circumstances (which were undisclosed) owners decided to pack it in.
In a social media statement on January 5, a spokesperson for Bing Bang Bosh wrote: “With a heavy heart, we have some sad news for you… This weekend is our last weekend as Bing Bang Bosh.

“We want to thank you for your support over these past months, every visit, purchase, coffee, cup, corn dog and fried chicken means the world to us.”

The owners teased a new venture may be in the works. In a statement on their website, they wrote that the firm would return “even bigger and better with something new and exciting.”
Gutted fans reacted with shock at the news and shared hopes that the closure was just a rebranding stunt.

One person said: “I always come here for yummy food when in town. Are you shutting permanently?”

Another wrote: “No way! My favourite food place.”

Someone commented: “Is it just a rebranding or something?”

“Please tell me it’s just a rebrand,” another added.

The closure comes after another major unit near Glasgow Central was put on the market.

We reported on January 7 that Barburrito made the “difficult decision” to close its three-floor site on Hope Street.
