Reality TV Star Dies At The Young Age Of 44
Denise Russo skyrocketed to nationwide fame from her appearances in the 2011 VH1 reality television show “The X-Life.” In the reality show, the producers used sets of cameras to follow the lives of three couples. In every romantic couple, the husband or boyfriend, in Russo’s case, was a professional extreme sports athlete hence the name The X-Life. In order for Russo to get onto the VH1 reality show, she began dating professional skateboarder Pierre-Luc Gagnon.
Russo and Gagnon never married. However, they did produce a son together, who was born out of wedlock. After struggling for years to make their rocky relationship work, Russo and Gagnon eventually decided to give up on each other and broke off their relationship once and for all.
Now, news has broken that Russo has passed away. According to a detailed report obtained by the tabloid reporters at TMZ, Russo died on March 5, 2023. On that fateful day, police responded to a call in San Diego and arrived at a house that belonged to Russo’s friend, only to find the flamboyant reality television star dead in her friend’s home.
When authorities arrived, Russo was already unresponsive. Although first responders did everything in their power to try to bring Russo back from the land of the dead to the land of the living, they could not bridge the gap. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident inside her friend’s home in San Diego, California. Russo was only forty-four years old at the time of her death this March 2023.
The cause of Russo’s death still remains unclear. However, some reports have surfaced that her death may have been a result of an overdose of drugs or alcohol. These substances can kill anyone who is not careful while abusing them. While this has not been officially confirmed, it is a possibility as the coroner’s report has yet to be released.
Fans and friends from all over the world have shared their condolences with Russo’s family, friends, and former co-stars. Tributes for the fallen reality star have been pouring in from all corners of the globe.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office published a press release about Russo’s death that stated, “Despite aggressive attempts at resuscitation, her death was pronounced. Drug paraphernalia was located on scene.”
Denise Russo, who once rose to fame through her appearances in “The X-Life,” will be remembered as a brash and bold woman who always spoke her mind and never shied away from a challenge.
