Pregnant Dog Held Secret In Her Belly, Dad Films Birth, Nearly Drops The Camera
Sometimes you just don’t know what you’re in for when you have a pregnant pup. And that was precisely the case with Diva, a three-year-old Staffordshire Terrier.
Diva found her mate Joey, a 13-year old Shepherd Mix. Within two months they were expecting! And Diva’s dad, Pepijn couldn’t have been more proud. So proud that he filmed the entire delivery! But what he didn’t know was that he was about to be a grandpa to 13 puppies!
Pepijn watched Diva’s bump get enormous. Everything with her gestation was on par and on the 59th day she was in labor. At first, she seemed a little nervous, but it didn’t take long for her to regain control. She was popping them out one by one. Thankfully, she had the help of Pepijn because after a while she grew tired. I mean, hello, 13 babies! I would have passed out!
This video shows the actual birth- so be sure you’re ready for all the things. But watching the delivery is incredible. And the puppies and their little squeals are absolutely adorable!
