Ozzy Osbourne cancels his upcoming tour due to a ‘painful’ health report.

The famous Black Sabbath frontman had long been expected to make a triumphant comeback to the stage at the Power Trip Festival following a five-year absence.

Ozzy Osbourne, known for his uncompromising dedication to his music profession, must prioritize his health and well-being above all else.

Ozzy’s physical condition has suffered due to several health issues recently. Multiple surgeries following a severe accident, as well as a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis, have caused enormous hurdles for the legendary singer.

Ozzy offered a melancholy update to his devoted fans eagerly anticipating his participation at the Power Trip Festival, despite his prior words proclaiming his commitment to continue doing what he loves most—performing on stage.

Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, and other well-known rock bands were expected to perform at the festival, which was set to take place with Ozzy as one of the headline headliners.

Ozzy came to Instagram to explain the “painful” decision he had to make. “As difficult as it is, I’ve had to make the difficult decision to withdraw from performing at Power Trip in October,” he wrote in his poignant letter.

“My initial goal was to make my return to the stage in the summer of 2024,” he explained, “and when the offer of appearing at this show came in, I enthusiastically moved forward.”

“Unfortunately, my own body is telling me that I’m not ready yet,” he added. I’m too proud to put on a bad show for my first show in almost five years.”

Ozzy reassured his unhappy supporters that a new band would be unveiled soon. He highlighted that these musicians were his friends and promised a performance that would not disappoint.

Ozzy praised his faithful fans, his band, and his crew for their continuous support, finishing with a poignant remark, “I love you all, and I will see you soon.”

The reaction from Ozzy’s devoted fans was rapid and full of understanding and support. Fans showed their affection and worry in the Instagram comments section, with sentiments such as, “Everyone loves you, my boy. Take care of yourself,” and “You don’t need to apologize, sir; you’ve provided years of amusement.”

“Take good care of yourself.” Another fan sympathized, saying, “Health comes. First, Ozz. Take as much time as you need, we understand,” she said, followed by an urgent request, “Please don’t apologize, Ozzy, get better.”

While promoting his 13th solo studio album, “Patient 9,” Ozzy expressed his persistent desire to return to the stage.

“I am determined to get back on stage,” he said in an interview with People. “Even if I must be strapped to a board and wheeled out.” He went on to say that “survival is my legacy.”

Reflecting on his health struggles, Ozzy admitted that his earlier health issues had taken a tremendous toll on him.

“They messed me up,” he said but stayed firm, saying, “I’ve never been this incapacitated… “I’m not sure why this keeps happening to me.” He declared unequivocally that he was here to stay in a show of steadfast dedication to his trade.

“This is where I’m supposed to be… “My connection with my audience is the most profound love affair I’ve ever had,” he claimed passionately.

Ozzy’s symbiotic relationship with his fans has been the driving factor behind his long-lasting career, and he remains committed to returning to the stage as soon as his health allows.
