“This Wedding is Cancelled!” Groom Shouts After Learning the Truth About His Birde
Jane gazed at herself in the floor-length mirror. After months of planning, everything had led to this day — her wedding day. She was a bundle of nerves, but she was more than pleased with how her vision had come to life. In just half an hour, she would marry the man of her dreams — Victor.
As she smoothed down the delicate lace of her wedding gown, Jane couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement tinged with nervousness. She took a deep breath, trying to calm the butterflies that fluttered in her stomach. Today was supposed to be the happiest day of her life.
But just as Jane was about to make her way to the ceremony, her world came crashing down around her. Victor, her beloved groom-to-be, burst into the bridal suite with a look of shock and anger on his face.
“Jane, we need to talk,” Victor said, his voice trembling with emotion.
Confused and alarmed, Jane turned to face him, her heart pounding in her chest. “What’s wrong, Victor? Is everything okay?”
But before she could even finish her question, Victor dropped a bombshell that shattered Jane’s world into a million pieces.
“I know the truth, Jane,” Victor said, his voice filled with betrayal. “I know that you’re not a virgin.”
Jane’s heart stopped. She felt as though the ground had been ripped out from beneath her feet. How could Victor know such a deeply personal detail about her past? And more importantly, why did it matter?
As Jane struggled to comprehend what was happening, Victor’s words echoed in her ears. She realized with a sinking feeling that her fairytale wedding was quickly turning into a nightmare.
“I can’t marry you, Jane,” Victor said, his voice choked with emotion. “I can’t marry someone who lied to me.”
Tears welled up in Jane’s eyes as the reality of the situation sank in. She had been honest with Victor about everything else — her hopes, her dreams, her fears. But she had never imagined that her past would come back to haunt her in such a cruel and devastating way.
As Victor stormed out of the bridal suite, Jane was left standing alone, her wedding dress billowing around her like a ghostly reminder of the love and happiness that had slipped through her fingers. In that moment, Jane realized that fairytales were nothing but illusions, and that sometimes, even the happiest of endings could be ripped away in an instant.
