Steve, a farmer from Scotland, had a few dairy cows. The father observed one day that Lila, who often produced the most milk, had no milk at all. The farmer decided to take a closer look at the cow in the field at the edge of the woodland after the veterinarian gave the animal the all-clear. Soon after, he saw that the cow occasionally wandered into the forest in the evening and made the decision to do the same.
The farmer often brought his cows to graze in a clearing close to a forest. Leela was behind the herd, and the guy saw this and followed her. He moved cautiously, trying not to startle the animal, and eventually, he arrived at a clearing that was surrounded by trees. Something was hidden by the cow as it stood further away.
Steve approached and noticed a little calf. It appears that Lila took it to the clearing a few weeks ago, maybe in an effort to keep it out of sight. The farmer needed around 10 minutes to comprehend the circumstances surrounding this incident. All calves are always taken away, raised apart from adults, and then moved to a new herd.
According to Steve, Leela did not appear to be particularly pleased with this turn of events. The calf was thus abandoned with the cow. Steve made the decision to reconsider how he would manage the farm.
