Babar Azam decides not to play in National T20 Cricket Tournament

Babar Azam to Skip National T20 Tournament
LAHORE: Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam will not take part in the upcoming National T20 Cricket Tournament, according to recent media reports.
Sources say that the national team management has advised the former Pakistan captain to take some rest from competitive cricket. Following this advice, Babar has decided to step away from domestic matches for a short period.
The team management has not issued any directive for him to participate in the National T20 Cup, which is why he will not be part of the tournament this time.
Instead, Babar Azam has begun training sessions in the nets with coaches to improve his batting. During these practice sessions, he is also working on refining his previous batting techniques.
Officials of Lahore Whites have been informed that Babar will not be available for the tournament.
It is worth mentioning that Babar Azam is expected to open the batting for Peshawar Zalmi in the upcoming Pakistan Super League Season 11.
Earlier reports suggested that he might represent Lahore Whites in the National T20 Cup, but the situation has now changed.
