Len Goodman, a beloved figure in the world of dance and television, passed away at the age of 78. Goodman, who was well-known as a judge on the popular TV show “Dancing With the Stars,” died on a Saturday in a hospice located in Kent, southern England. For some time, he had been battling bone cancer. His death was confirmed by his manager, Jackie Gill, who mentioned that Len was surrounded by family members in his final moments.

Born in London in 1944, Len Goodman started his journey into the world of dance at the age of 19. Despite beginning relatively late, he quickly made a name for himself as a professional dancer. His talent and passion for dance led him to become one of the most respected figures in the industry.

Len Goodman gained widespread recognition when he became the head judge on the British TV show “Strictly Come Dancing,” which is the original version of “Dancing With the Stars.” He was a part of “Strictly Come Dancing” from its inception in 2004 until 2016, when he stepped down. His role as the head judge made him a household name in the UK and brought him into the hearts of millions of viewers.
